Holyrood Scottish Parliament Building - Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Holyrood - a great place, but not worth the money (11.02.2008 14:01)
I had never been to Holyrood before, I'm not really that interested in politics, but on Feb 1 2008 I went with the school for the day. I thought we would just be getting a tour of the building but instead we were doing some things that were a lot more fun. It was about ecology, climate change, transport, the economy and wildlife. This is what I did: 9:35am - we arrived at the parliament (5 [more...] -
Kildare Park - Lanark, United Kingdom
Kildare Park (09.03.2007 14:36)
Overall Rating - 80% Dogs Kildare park has a big open space which can be used by anyone, but dogs seem to enjoy it most. I see dogs at the park all the time running around, playing with their owners. Me and my dog have lots of fun. I chase her around the park and then when she gets bored of running she rolls around in the mud (which is annoying, as I get the job of cleaning her). Nell (my [more...] -

Lanark Loch - Lanark, United Kingdom
Lanark Loch (11.11.2006 20:09)
Lanark Loch is a small loch in South Lanarkshire. There are lots of swans and the number increases every year. This summer I counted 57 when I was feeding them. Most visitors will bring the hungry birds some food but not all of the swans end up getting fed as the bigger, tougher and meaner swans push forward and littler swans don't get a chance to eat. Generaly, people just take bread but I have [more...]
