, 27/08/2007] The island of Sapienza is located south of Methoni. It has a lighthouse that dates from 1885. The island has no inhabitants except for the animals that include goats, sheep and chamois. You can visit the island on boat trips from the mainland, where you can hike or spend time on the beach.
