The Ritz-Carlton is "undoubtedly Santiago's most posh hotel" although from the outside it's "remarkably plain". However it's not of the same standard as Ritz hotels elsewhere because of the "inconsistency" with staff service. Some staff are "delight(ful)" and "courteous" but service is "slow" and the concierges are unfriendly. By international comparison, the Ritz in Santiago is "more economical" than elsewhere. Its location is "more convenient" than the Hyatt due to its "proximity to fine restaurants" a well as a Metro station, and the "thriving economic hub" of the city. Interiors are [more]
