[smilepolite, 06/09/2011] This is a very beautiful and romantic building. There is lovely Spanish tile throughout, and the hallways are filled with tasteful regional artwork. Someone told us that part of the building used to house the law library for St. Mary's university, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. Our room was a bit on the small side, but it was also rustic (in a lovely cozy sense) and clean. The back end of the building opens directly onto the San Antonio Riverwalk, and even though the Riverwalk was under construction and a bit of a mess during our stay, the access this connection provides to restaurants
