The suites have been refurbished in full respect of the ancient structures and furnished with old-style furniture. They offer all modern comforts, a small kitchen and bubble bath.The excellent Locanda del Colle restaurant is a part of the Relais and well known for its culinary tradition and wine cellar.
Of course the typical products such as Parmesan and Parma ham and Culatello that have made the region known throughout the world can be tasted at the Relais.
House specialties include homemade pasta, white truffles tagliolini, tortelli alla parmigiana, Fiorentina of Chianina, tagliata with rucola. Parmesan cheese and locally produced culatello. An extensive and exclusive wine list is also available.
In nearby Salsomaggiore, Sala Baganza and Castell’Arquato you can find excellent golf courses. Tennis, biking, horse riding and of course the different spa possibilities are also available nearby. Do not miss the opportunity to watch the making of the genuine parmesan cheese.
There is much to be seen and experienced both in the immediate and surrounding region: the Mediterranean coast of Cinqueterre (90 km) as well as the lakes in the foothills of the Alps are little more than an hour by car away, and Venice is easily reached in two hours – Verona (130 km) in less.
