Salisbury

Situated in the very heart of historic Salisbury The Kings Arms Hotel lies within easy reach of some of the foremost treasures of SouthernEngland. In a region and city steeped in history it may be a surprise that no one really knows when the Kings Arms Hotel was built. What we have found out is the stone for Salisbury cathedral was cut in our chapter house restaurant. This would place the hotel at the year of the cathedral's construction in 1220 AD making the hotel some 787 years old. We have 17 bedrooms ensuring a personal and attentive service. All our rooms are ensuite some with a shower only but most have a bath with shower over. We have been very careful to retain the history and charm of this hotel and our efforts are to provide the best facilities possible whilst staying in keeping with the age and character of the building.
