[swifty, 28/05/2009] Gorges D'Heric is both panoramic and fabulous! The ground is paved, and the hike up the mountain is 5km and can take 1.5-2 hrs because you'll want to take pictures non-stop. The return down the mountain about 45 min - 1 hour long. Bring a picnic and your swim suit as there are great spots to stop and swim in the clear pools of mountain-fresh water. The drive to get there is incredible with many small mountain villages to see along the way. Loved Roqueburn as well (small town on the way). Overall, I highly recommend this day adventure in the south of France.
