Our bright guest rooms have been tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. Most rooms feature a balcony or terrace, providing a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
The breakfast room is lovingly decorated according to the season. In the afternoons and evenings, this room also serves as a lounge. Cards, chess, Trivial Pursuit and a range of other board games are available.
The rich, varied breakfast offers something for everybody.
Although the hotel does not boast its own restaurant, you can reach several eateries in approximately 5 minutes. During the summer, cost-free sun loungers are available. Indoor and outdoor games are available, as well as entertaining readings.
The town centre can be reached on foot and offers numerous restaurants, a tourist information centre, hiking trails, tour buses, mini golf, tennis courts, and a leisure pool with a large wellness area.
Keen mountain bikers will get their money's worth here, while golf enthusiasts will appreciate the 18-hole golf course nearby. Riding stables and lakes for bathing can also be found in the area. During the winter, Ruhpolding and its surroundings provide ski slopes for children, beginners and seasoned skiiers. The ski resort of Steinplatte is approximately 20 kilometres away.
Salzburg, lake Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden / Königssee and Bad Reichenhall are all between 20 and 45 minutes away by car.
Nearest airport: Salzburg. Exit the Salzburg motorway at Siegsdorf / Ruhpolding (exit 112). At the roundabout, continue towards Ruhpolding via the village of Eisenärzt. In Ruhpolding, continue towards the Zentrum (town centre) and follow the Hauptstraße. Approximately 40 metres after the tourist information centre's parking lot (before the roundabout), turn right into the Kurhausstraße. You will see a sign reading “Parkhotel, Kurhaus, Getränke Gimpl, Minigolf”. After approximately 200 metres, just after the “Kurhaus” building, you will see a large sign reading “Parkhotel”. Turn right here, at the beginning of the meadow, and follow the private lane which leads to the hotel.
If you are approaching on the Ruhpolding bypass, you will reach a roundabout at the end of the tunnel. Turn right towards the town centre, then turn left immediately (after about 5 metres) into the Kurhausstraße. After approximately 200 metres, turn right into the hotel parking lot.
