Description: Clifton Park covers an area of 56 acres and is located just outside the town centre. The park was originally part of the estate of the Owen family who lived at Clifton Hall (now Clifton Park Museum) on the edge of the park. It was given to Rotherham Borough Council in 1891.

Today the park is a popular visitor attraction throughout the year and also hosts the annual Rotherham Show, an annual event attended by 60,000 people every September.

The park includes tennis courts, sports pitches, children's playground, a skate park, bowling green and paddling pools. Highlights within the park include a memorial garden, the Big Beech Tree and a Victorian bandstand.

The park is open at all times and it is fully accessible by disabled visitors.
