A Sobering Experience
THE CEMETARY Ripon's Cathdral is located in the centre of Ripon and is fairly easy to find. When we arrived in Ripon it was one of the first places we looked for. There has been a church on the cathedral site since the 8th century; but it wasn't until 1836 that the building as we see it today became a cathedral. The cathedral is open daily to the public and a donation of £3 is suggested. There is a gift shop and a museum.
