Description: Fountains Abbey is a former Cistercian Monastery that was founded in the year 1132. It is one of the best preserved examples of its kind in the UK. The site, along with the adjacent Studley Royal Water Garden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Monastery is also a Grade 1 listed building.

The admission prices are:

Adults - £7.50 (11.25 Euros)
Child - £4.00 (6 Euros)
Family - £20.00 (30 Euros)
National Trust and English Heritage members and children under 5 free
