This anonymous reviewer writing in September 2005 and travelling from Canada stated that she and her husband had "an incredible time" at the Club Bahia Principe resort. The author describes the rooms as "very clean" and although there were problems with the air conditioning, the staff did all they can to try and fix the problem and the couple were eventually moved to a new room. The resort itself was found to be "clean, well kept and absolutely breathtaking", the front lobby being a "favourite" place. The beach was "beautiful, clean" and had "plenty of chairs available." This was Courtney and Jimmy's first time to the Dominican Republic and it "certainly won't be the last." They were immediately "impressed" with the Club Bahia Principe resort and saw it as "huge and clean". The beds in the rooms were described as "basic" and "hard" and the air conditioning was "excellent". The authors were pleased with the food generally as there was "choice galore" and as regards the service, "nothing is never too much trouble". Nicole and her best friend visited the Club Bahia Principe resort in the summer of 2005 and found it to be "perfect". The room was clean with "a lovely balcony" and a view of the "beach and sunrise". The grounds were found to be "beautiful" despite the construction work that was going on at the time. The main pool was fine after some building work had been completed and "the staff clean the pool all the time". The beach was "beautiful" and the sunrise and sunset were "spectacular".
