A very refined tropical design, inspired by Brazil colonial, african and indigenian roots, arts and cultures. Natural materials, tropical woods like Canela, Imbuia, Peroba, Ypês, burnt ciments on the floors, line painted walls, golden and dark natural slates, coconut, banana or bacaba fibers, have been used in the design project to offer a unique travel into the brazilian soul from a contemporary sight. On each individual or social space of the hotel Santa Teresa, furniture and art have been created for the hotel by Brazilian artists and designers such as Sérgio Rodriguez, Rock Lane, Carassas, Oficina de Agosto, or even Zemog. Hotel Santa Teresa has 40 personalized spacious rooms and suites, between 30 and 120 square meters, most with balconies and panoramic views over the Rio de Janeiro Bay, the Teresopolis Mountains and the Christ Redeemer. On the patios and gardens, palm trees and century old Mangos, in the middle of scented jasmines, are visited daily by toucans, parrots and monkeys. Sun bathed all day long, the green slate swimming pool of Hotel Santa Teresa, just beside the Jacuzzi, is an ideal spot to enjoy the great views of the Rio de Janeiro Bay. In a sophisticated natural and zen environment, decorated with natural fibers, woods and fabrics, Le Spa by Natura was specially created for the relaxation of its customers, offering treatments from amazonian seeds, flowers and roots to balance the body, soul and mind. The Térèze Restaurant is the newest gastronomic venue of the city of Rio de Janeiro. A restaurant offering flavors from a cuisine du monde, headed by the Executive Chef Damien Montecer, responsible for the most renowned restaurants in Rio de Janeiro and a vast worldwide experience. The Lounge Bar dos Descasados is an ideal place for drinks with friends, for romantic couples and for all that toast to life.
