Detailed review by bailo
My wife , grandaughter and myself stayed at the Pnatheon and all I can say is that either my interpretation of "all inclusive" is completely wrong onr I was misold this "all inclusive" holiday by the tour operator.
Arrived at 4.30 am met by night porter, given a bite to eat, he was very accommodating.
Next morning moved room, breakfast accecptable , didnt really want a lot , just as well as most of what was on offer had gone.
Seemed very confusing as to what was "all inclusive" and the times of availing of these "all inclusive" items is stilla mystery. And I am not talking about alcohol, this covered soft drinks , no tea or coffee available until AFTER 5pm. The Juice machine was "covered" up for the whole day.
Hours of "availability" changed from day to day.Because I was driving for the holiday duration I was not drinking but on arriving back at the Hotel at about 11.15pm I asked for a drink I was told "no drink". I said that i was expecting to pay for it but I still declined because the "boss" said the bar is closed because some party the previous evening had ordered drink but did not pay for it.
Not my problem , like being back at school.
Most mornings I requested BREAD for my breakfast only to be told that "its all gone", weel I could see that but in spite of numerous requests I still did not get any.
Not much of a breakfast really.
Food on display not covered at any time,.
Requested Air conditioning only to be advised that this is Euro 4 per night.?
Beds were not changed for over four days when I requested a "change" of lined and towels the blame was clearly passed on to one of the maids.
Pool was "topped" up with some sort of chlorine without any Ph reading, pool closed after a number of swimmers contracted ear/throat infesctions and burning eyes, cant imagine why.
Times of services "availability" changed too much so you didnt know what was or not available.
All in all NOT a good advert for such a lovely island,
