Korean War Museum - impressive military exhibition
[25/04/2009] It's not difficult to visit any entertainment in 12 million megapolis like Seoul is. And I had a chance to visit some of them, enjoying both hightech level and spirit of traditional Korea. However the War Museum belongs to most imressive war historical memorials in the world. Tens hectares of territory and imposing buiding of pantheon reflect a great role of Korean War of early 1950-s in forming of modern life not only for two Koreas. [16/04/2009] I had only one free day during my trip to Germany, when I first could visit Holland. And I decided to go to Amsterdam by car. Generally I liked this city very much. Holland people mostly riding on bikes, are very energetic, especially women. In March there were a lot of wild birds here, even swans, an air was very fresh. People say that in summer the water in channels smells badly and motor boats spoil air, but in Spring boats do not move, and the center of city is rather quiet. It is not recommended to breath in Prestige hotel
[14/04/2009] Most of rooms of Prestige hotel in Istanbul correspond to Turkish standard of three stars hotel. But not those rooms which are situated in center of building. They are located aroung of big ventilating shaft, which is always closed. In fact it is public smoking area. Nothing but smoke of cigarettes.There is no fresh air at all, it is impossible to have any rest or sleeping in those rooms. This was definetely worst night in foreign hotel for me.
