, 09/07/2010] Himself and Yours Truly stayed at Highgate Farm near Newtown in April 2008, when we took our then-11-year-old grandson on his first trip to Britain. We chose Highgate because it offered self-catering cottages and because it was a farm. We were traveling for 2 weeks, and we thought that by the second week of our trip our grandson would need a sense of home to fend off homesickness.
