The reviewer, Rob Freestone had a "not particularly positive" impression of the hotel from the outside but was "won over" by the style and decor when inside, commenting on the contemporary design. He noted that there were fabulous views both inside and out. The food he found to be "amazing", of top quality and well presented. The bar with its "funky furniture" and relaxing music had a comfortable and restful atmosphere. Staff in general to be very helpful. The hotel was close enough to Poole to walk into and was very close to the harbour, cliffs and beaches.
