excellent

The author highlights the "friendly staff" which is willing to do "everything" if you tip them 3-4 US Dollars a day and the wide selection of imported alcoholic drinks at the bar. He advices to not drink the water for hygienic reasons though and recommends to eat meat in moderation. But the fish and shell fish were "excellent". The writer of the review calls the variety of food "significant". Complains are made by the author about big topless women from Europe. Nevertheless he want to "go back and spend another week there again".

This anonymous reviewer visited the Bavaro in August 2005 and was generally pleased with the standards provided at the resort. The author appreciated the maintenance that was evident during the stay and it made him "feel good that they were putting effort and money into keeping the resort beautiful." The room was a comfortable size for the family of 5 and the "bar, towels and bedding were always as we asked." The beach was considered "beautiful" and chairs and huts were always in plentiful supply "regardless of the time of day." The pool was "large" but it "would have been nicer had they kept [more]
