[gruyeresuisse, 18/08/2011] This was our second consecutive stay at the SanGallo (family of 4 for 11 nights) in the past 3 years and we decided to spend our 2011 summer vacation in Umbria as we love the region and the hotel was perfect in 2008. After a hot sweltering day visiting Perugia or one of the close buy towns / cities, it is great to return to a welcoming hotel, clean rooms and aircon! The hotel is situated in the best imaginable position : steps away from the main bus terminus to Umbrian cities, Rome etc and a few metres away from the famous Rocca Paolina which houses the escalators that reach the old part of Peru

[brankovic, 11/02/2011] I was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious room overlooking the pool and gardens. It was clean and well furnished. The area was quiet and ideal to rest. If I return to Perugia I would definitely use this accommodation again.
[nesve1978, 26/01/2011] I was recently at San Felicissimo and i was really satisfied about my short holiday there. The room was wide, clean and romantic, breakfast good and genuine with fresh fruit, ham, cheese and local salami. The staff very helpful and kind. Suggested!!!!
[NYC74, 14/12/2010] After our trip to Italy, we absolutely want to share our marvelous experience we had in this little charming country Hotel. The research was not easy, because there are lots of small hotels in Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto etc etc.. but we wanted something special for our holiday. Le Torri was the perfect place to stay in.
It is such a beautiful and exclusive historic hotel, with all the comforts and amenities we needed: restaurant, wifi, breakfast, lunch upon request, bar service etc etc.
As soon as we arrived we were astonished by the beauty of this place. First, the location: it is in the mi

[joanclarke, 25/08/2010] On arriving by train into Perugia for our 5-day stay, my husband and I took a local bus bound for the bus station. We spotted Sangallo Palace and dismounted the bus. As we entered the hotel, we were impressed by the welcoming foyer - spacious, comfortable seating, a notice board giving weather details and tourist information and an attractive bar with bar seating.. The reception desk was manned by a very polite and pleasant young man. Our room was really comfortable and quiet. This meant a lot to us. Our balcony faced east so we enjoyed the dawn and sunrise each morning. Breakfast provided amp

[paulhodson, 18/07/2010] We stayed at this hotel for a few days on a trip touring Italy.
Th hotel is well located only a few metres from the escalators which allow you to reach the centre of the old town withouit effort and in a few minutes.
The staff on reception could not have been more helpful, spoke excellent English and gave us some very useful information.
The rooms were comfortable and well equipped and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
A very pleasing experience.
[pamjohn, 15/07/2009] We have returned from our daughters wedding at the tower and i found I had to write this review considering the cost of staying at this place [200 euros pppn b&b] and the service we received I felt I should let others know what might befall them.
We did not expect 5 service but some sort of service would have been great.
We arrived between 5& 6pm after a long and very hot journey to find that all the rooms were not ready for us [we were taking all the rooms in the tower] this took at least another hour before we could get into our rooms to freshen up, by the way there is no bar so you have

[spike, 06/07/2009] Firstly I must say the property is beautiful and the location idyllic, although a 20 minute chore to drive up and down to the property via the unpaved roads.
The reason I feel compelled to write this review is because, when we booked to stay at the tower, we did not book expecting 'A Boutique Hotel Feel' about the place. We were under the impression that we were 'Renting' the entire property for the week of our wedding on a Self catering basis. My wife had discussed this in length for the 18 months prior to our wedding.
We paid handsomely for the privilege of staying at the tower; however, o

[giulia, 07/02/2008] Perugia is absolutely the town I know better than the others because I spent the best period of my life. Everybody has the chance to have a walk and a look in this town will be conquered. that is guaranteed 100%.
To join the center of Perugia, the easiest way is to park the car in one of the parking cars around the "Acropolis" (the oldest part of the town). I suggest you to let the car in Piazzale Europa, because is closer than the others and not so expensive. You will follow people and the direction to the top of a little hill. then, taking the escalator and passing through Rocca Paolina

[chara, 03/01/2008] Summer of 2006 I went there for a wedding.
We visited the city of Perugia. It was mythical!!! The city is stated up to the hill. The small streets do not make easy the car driving, it is preferable to to walk around the city. The people are so friendly and kind.If you want to go shopping you can find there evrything you wish! Italian fashion!!!!
And please dont forget to drink capuccino. It tastes totally different in Italy.
