Situated in St. James, the Tamarind Cove Hotel is an oceanfront resort comprised of several hacienda style buildings on a pristine beach. Three freshwater pools are located among the hotel's landscaped gardens of hibiscus and bougainvillea. Nearby attractions include the Barbados Museum, underwater reef tours at Atlantis Submarine, and shopping on Broad Street. The Tamarind Cove Hotel features 105 large, airy guestrooms and suites. Polished marble floors and buff stone walls create a European ambience, while rattan furnishings and balconies or patios echo the resort's Caribbean surroundings. Other amenities include air conditioning and mini refrigerators. Marble bathrooms have deep Roman tubs, separate showers and dual sinks. Luxury ocean view suites also feature four poster beds with canopies. Restaurants include Sasso, serving Mediterranean and Caribbean specialties for dinner only; Tanjiers, featuring local Bajan and international dishes and open for all meals daily; and the Oasis Bar, serving light lunches, snacks and drinks.
