I truly loved this little gem of a hotel - I had no expectations of the hotel and so I went in with an open mind. However, I soon took to it and fell instantly in love with the decor of the hotel and how cosy it looked. The lobby although small is ideal to relax in before heading out into the city and a very relaxing place due to how nice and quiet it is. The courtyard where breakfast is served is charming and very Parisian in style with the style of the furniture.
I loved how authentic looking the rooms were and as I mentioned I do love small hotels that have something about them that stand out as you really feel you can relax and get away from it all. The staff I encountered were polite and helpful which is an added bonus as sometimes rude staff can really let down what otherwise could have been a fantastic place to stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere intimate and peaceful to stay. I guess business travellers would prefer somewhere with more business facilities unless of course you were just wishing to get away somewhere other than a huge chain hotel. Overall a great little hotel that I don't think anyone would be disappointed with.
  • The rooms are all set across three floors. When you come out of the lift on each of the floors the corridor is pretty tiny as you would expect due to the small size of the hotel but thankfully the rooms are not cramped! The rooms is unusual for me as even though it didn't wow me when I first went inside the longer I was in there the more I fell in love with it! The bed was nice and big and also very comfy and the bathroom although small had a nice bath tub and shower with a small selection of toiletries. However I think what made me like the room so much was first of all the French windows (which I love in little boutique Paris hotels as I love being able to sit with them open watching the world go by!) and the beamed ceiling. This was definitely its unique feature as these are the original beams that are from when the hotel used to be a family's home. They give the room a certain character and I truly felt the hotel became more authentic by keeping this lovely feature in.
All rooms have WI-FI connection and safes along with air conditioning.

    Lobby Atmosphere
  • The hotel only serve breakfast and it is normally served on the outdoor terrace which is located just behind the reception desk. They serve a variety of drinks and breakfast is continental buffet style. The outdoor terrace isn't that large but, adequate enough for the amount of rooms the hotel has. There is a small indoor lounge for guest who would rather sit inside or for when the weather is bad!
There is a small bar too where guests can enjoy a drink in the lobby.

The hotel doesn't have many other facilities to hand due to its small size but, they do have a 24hr reception desk and a dry cleaning service. As far as I know there are no meeting rooms unless they can use the indoor breakfast lounge as a small one upon request. There isn't any car parking at the hotel but, there is a garage that guests can book into a short walk away. I am not sure of prices though unfortunately

  • The hotel is located on the left bank in the 6th Arondissemont and is tucked away down a small street at 56 Rue Monsieur-Le-Prince. The hotel is just over 5 minutes away from the Notre Dame Cathedral and within a few minutes of the Jardin Du Luxemburg. Surrounding the hotel there are lots of little cafes and shops so it is an ideal choice for those who want to be in a busy area and right in the heart of the city centre. There are lots of attractions within walking distance of the hotel and there is a metro stop within easy walking distance of the hotel too which allows guests to get even further around the city centre in no time
