[koshkha, 19/06/2010] When the Icelandic volcano erupted, I was stuck in Portugal with a colleague, his wife and their 2 year old son. After a few days of no improvement we hired a car and started to drive back. We had no intention of going to Orleans but after the boy got a fever and his mum got very fraught, we called our secretary and begged her to find us a place in Orleans. The agency came back with the Mercure. It's located right beside the river close to a large bridge and was very easy to find.
