Discovery Cove is the place where you can interact with Dolphins, Sting Ray and coral reefs. It is not a massive "park" but the main attraction and highlight of the visit of course is the swim with dolphins - a 30 minute experience that you must try. Personally I felt in two minds about the whole experience of whether it was exploitation of these lovely marine animals but I think on reflection they are well cared for and have a good environment. I did'nt feel too comfortable "making" a dolphin perform tricks for my entertainment but there's plenty of educational information thrown in too.
Also a good point is the fact this resort is an all inclusive so lunch and drinks are included in the price of the ticket, so a great one for a family day out. The lazy river was a real hit, although it's not that lazy and does involve some level of swimming, especially if you get caught on the wrong side of the jets!
