Doubletree at the Entrance to Universal Orlando is a 3 star hotel within walking distance of the Universal Studios theme park which includes the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Other theme parks in the area include, Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Wet ' n Wild, in addition to the Orange County Convention Centre. There are 742 air conditioned and oversized guest rooms and suites with en-suite bathroom, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, direct dial telephone with voice mail, high speed internet access, flat screen television with cable TV channels and Pay-TV. An American buffet breakfast is provided every morning and there is a choice of restaurants for lunch and dinner. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby. Leisure facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, jacuzzi and a fully equipped fitness room. For conferences and meetings there is 60,000 square feet of space available and complete with modern technology. Car parking is available on site and charges apply.

Canaveral National Seashore
Canaveral National Seashore is a by-product from the US Space programme. Needing a buffer zone, it is situated on a barrier island on Florida's Atlantic coast and boasts one of the longest stretches of uninterrupted natural beach. The sand, dunes and lagoons are a haven for an abundant variety of birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. Endangered sea turtles lay their eggs within its boundaries. The diverse plant life includes the rare sea oat. Year round activities include fishing, boating, canoeing, surfing, sunbathing, swimming, hiking, camping, nature and historical trails. There are also guided tours by pontoon boats.
The Seashore can be reached from US 1, I-95, and 528 (Beach Line Expressway). There is ample parking. Open daily except Christmas Day Park Hours 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (November to March) 6:00 am to 8:00 pm (April to October) Visitor Centre 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Admission Adult $3 Children under 16 free
