The Universal studios in Orlando is included in the flex tickets that can be pre purchased in the UK before departure - I am not sure how much the cost wold be for a day entry on it's own though. The flex ticket includes 5 parks and can be purchased for a full 14 day duration at approximately £15- 170 per adult.
The universal stuidos is home to the Cartoon, film and tv characters created by Universal. In here the attractions mainly come in the form of simulators and 3D rides that includes things like Shrek 4D, Men In Black, Jaws, and ET. These are great fun and there is even a ride, Revenge of The Mummy, based on the film which has amazing special effects!! There is also a fear factor show just like the one that is on tv and a kids zone with plenty to entertain the younger children.
The park has a parade which is daily at certain times and there are various places to eat and drink around the park too.
The park is quite open an spacious and doesn't feel cramped even when busy so this is a huge bonus too. There is lots of places to just sit and chill out too and this park is located in the Universal area - the entrance is where the famous big Universal 'globe' is and don't forget your camera for those picture moments!!
This park has it's own car park so if you are drving you can park right outside or for those staying at a Universal or Disney hotel you can take the complimentary buses or even a water taxi if at selected hotels such as the Royal Pacific or Hard Rock Hotels.
Overall this park is great fun and most of the attractions are family friendly so suitabel for everyone!
