    The Cheadle Royal is a frequent haunt fro me and my extended family - this place has seen plenty of birthday gatherings from us and I think it will for some time to come yet!     This restaurant ahas lovely food but I find that it is quite expensive - it didn't used to be but in recent years the prices have gone up. In my opinion the food is nice here but not that nice I can justify spending as much on a meal here as what it is!     Buffet city is one of the best Chinese 'all you can eat' buffet restaurants to go to in Manchester city centre if you are looking for somewhere that is not too expensive and has something for everyone.     I have eaten quite a lot at the Beijing restaurant in Manchester which is just on the outskirts of Chinatown. It is located on the main road on Portland street where all the other main restaurants are just behind the main road in the square.     The hard rock cafe in Manchester is nearly always heaving - it is a good idea to either make a reservation or turn up early to get a table - if you have to wait they do have a rather nice bar area but htis can get pretty crowded!
