Childhood Memories Toy Museum - Tynemouth, United Kingdom
Remember your Childhood (18.05.2008 21:40)
I first visited Childhood Memories Toy Museum, Tynemouth when I was child. I went with my parents and we all really enjoyed it. I wanted somewhere to drive to during my time off so my friend and I decided to go here. I cant remember anything from my first visit except what my parents have told me so it was almost like visiting here for the first time (though once I entered the museum there was an [more...] -

Nice Food, Nice Place (05.04.2008 12:05)
It was my cousins 17th birthday last week and my auntie and uncle asked my parents and I if we wanted to go out for a meal to celebrate. When we agreed they said they would book a table at Marco Polo in Newcastle for Saturday night. Where is it? Marco Polo is an Italian restaurant located on Dean Street in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is near to the metro station and taxi's can be found [more...] -

South Shields Museum and Art Gallery - South Shields, United Kingdom
The History of South Tyneside (20.03.2008 13:50)
The entry into the museum is free and although we just spent about an hour and a half there (we were short of time) I think a morning or an afternoon could be filled in easily if everything is looked at and read thoroughly. I went to this museum last summer with my sister, niece and friend. The museum is a five-minute walk away from South Shields Metro Station, at the heart of the main [more...] -
Eldon Square Shopping Centre - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
Experience Shopping at Eldon Square (16.03.2008 13:31)
Eldon Square is an indoor shopping centre located in the heart of Newcastle and as I am now studying in Newcastle I have been here quite often recently. Eldon Square first opened in 1976 and serves a catchment area of 2.7 million people. There are a number of entrances but I usually enter at the one on Northumberland Street. This leads straight to the shops. It is lovely walking into Eldon Square [more...] -
Metrocentre - Gateshead, United Kingdom
Fun for all the family (22.10.2006 16:49)
The Metro Centre is located 3 miles south west of Newcastle upon Tyne on the A1 road west of Gateshead. Fortunately for me I don't live very far away! I love shopping and I think the Metro Centre is great. All the shops under one roof! Not only is there is a huge range of shops but there are also leisure facilities such as: Metroland - an indoor theme park where there are quite a few [more...]
