Comme nous avions peu de temps le jour de notre visite, et nous avons dû nous rabattre sur les jardins. Comme souvent pour les sites appartenant au 'National Trust for Scotland', le prix de la visite était assez salé. Arran is a paradise for walkers and the only difficulty is choosing which walk to go on. We hadn't really planned this walk very well, just decided to do it as we were passing through Whitting Bay. Although Arran has a tradition of whisky making, this new distillery is the first example of legally produced whisky on the island. It is a newcomer on the whisky scene, as it only opened in 1995. As such, the visit is perhaps not as quaint or picturesque as it might be at other distilleries. But the visitor centre was purpose built, and for this reason the visit follows a logical thread.
