The scenic Chapman's Peak Drive connects the villages of Noordhoek and Hout Bay and is the gateway to the Southern Peninsula and Cape Peninsula National Park, where the two Oceans meet. The route has become an integral part of the annual Two Oceans Marathon as well as the Cape Argus Bicycle Tour. It is noted for the views which unfold in the over 100 curves of the coastal road. Motor vehicles using the Chapman's Peak Drive have to pay a toll. The road can be closed due to bad wether conditions from time to time.
