very good

[hannah_i, 11/10/2011] Perhaps I visited at a bad time (July), but the river was flowing particularly high and unfortunately the falls failed to live up to my expectations. The area surrounding the falls is very beautiful, including the whirlpool in the river to Niagara Falls. But as for the water fall itself, let's just say I much preferred the more delicate American Falls on the other side of the border!

[househusband, 07/07/2010] A must do.An helicoptor flight over the falls are amazing. The pilots are a bit like boy racers as they snake their way along the river to the falls but the views are spectacular.

In the author's view Niagara Falls are one of the wonders of the world, straddling the border between USA and Canada. Over 12 million people visit each year to view the falls, which are really three waterfalls, as well as nearby town and attractions. One is the boat ride up turbulent waters to the edge of the falling water. The author highlights a Canadian side attraction: the IMAX theatre where you catch up on the history of formation while learning about people and events over the last few hundred years. The author who calls herself chellbian along with her husband went to Niagara Falls and whatever they've heard about it couldn't do it justice with the real thing. It was "one of the most fantastic experiences" and she strongly recommends it. The author and her husband choose to use a tour guide and the company picked them up from the hotel and made them "feel relaxed". The guide gave an "informative and fun tour" on their way to the Falls passing towns and sights on their way.
