Description The Three Tees
The Three Tees is a non-smoking family-run 9 bedroom licensed hotel with a friendly and informal atmosphere. We are situated in the quiet Lusty Glaze area of Newquay, a short walk from the beach, and 10/15 mins walk from the town centre. Children and Pets welcome - we do not cater for groups. All of our non-smoking bedrooms are fully en-suite or with private bathroom, and have flat screen televisions and tea/coffee making facilities. Adjacent to our large dining room is a cosy bar and conservatory, opening onto an attractive fully-enclosed garden. Rated AA 3 Star Guest Accommodation, Gold Stars Award.
Originally sited on the Eddystone Rocks, this lighthouse was moved stone by stone to its present site on Plymouth Hoe in the late 1880s.
Smeatons Tower has been Plymouth's most famous landmark ever since.
There are 93 steps to the top to see the panoramic view over the city and beyond.
Opening hours are 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays (until Saturday 29 March 2008). Slightly longer opening hours apply during the summer season.
The Tower is closed between Christmas and New Year.
