From the very first moment when you reach the hotel you realize that it is "a smart operation" which is situated in "one of the smartest locations in town". The "black-uniformed" staff welcomes guests with a "warm Asia-style welcome" and the doorman "jumps to attention" as soon as a taxi pulls up. The Lobby is "grand" and features "marble columns" which, oddly, are not "off-putting". The check-in was dealt with "quickly" and "efficiently".
