[nam2505, 31/01/2012] We stayed at the Carlton in August 2009 and would definitely recommend it and consider it again on future visits to New York.
The hotel lobby is impressively fitted out and the staff were both friendly and very helpful. The room was 'cozy' (not in my experience unusual for Manhatten hotels!) but comfortable, clean and well equipped. Although only a few minutes walk from the Empire State Building, Maceys and a short walk from Times Square the location was quiet enough (certainly as quiet as you could possibly hope for in the middle of a large city!).

[francophile28, 17/02/2008] With its recent refurbishment this is a very smart, well located and stylish hotel and makes a great base for exploring New York City.
