we stayed there last year and it is fantastic! worth every penny, the staff are the nicest people you will ever meet, with one of them fetching us a cab in the pouring rain which took 15 minutes! the hotel is a dream, wonderful facilities, clean, well furnished.
The location is wonderful, its no more than a 5 minute walk to times square, radio city music hall, the gershwin and winter garden theatre, Rockefeller centre, top of the rock, it is just outside the heart of the city, so not too noisy but close enough too all the action!
The 2nd floor is a communal space for guests too meet other guests, with regular events held there with complimentary food and snacks, I could not fault it at all and i will certainly be going back!
