Frommers Review : Grandest Hotel in Nancy

Article
[Caro, 13.03.2007] Qualified as the "grandest hotel" of the city, the Grand Hotel de la Reine has been built in the 18th. century. As one of the "showplaces" of the Concorde Chain, it offers the kind of luxury that one could find in the parisian Hôtel de Crillon. It has a "monumental square" and an "elegant and very grand" restaurant, which serves "classic" and "modern" food. The rooms, decorated in Louis XV style ("comfortable beds", "Venetian style chandelier" and "gilt-framed mirrors"), have "roomy" bathrooms. Those with a view on the place Stanislas are more expensive. Frommers rates the hotel as an "exceptional" place.
