[rosehall, 01.08.2007] The author speaks about the Deutsches Museum in Germany and describes it as being "the largest technological museum of its kind in the world." Inside, it contains a "huge collection of priceless artifacts and historic originals."

Some of the exhibits include items such as "the first electric dynamo (Siemens, 1866)" and "the first automobile (Benz, 1886)" to name just a few.

Once at the musuem, you will find that there are "buttons to push, levers to crank, and gears to turn" and there are "knowledgeable, English-speaking staff to answer questions."

Speaking of the exhibits, Darwin Porter states that there are displays on mining which include "a series of model coal, salt, and iron mines" as well as an "electric power hall, with high-voltage displays that actually produce lightning."

The author concludes by saying that there is also a "good restaurant and a museum shop."
