Most of the important attractions of Munich , including the beautiful squares and shopping areas can be reached within a few walking minutes , and the pedestrian area , leading towards Stachus and Marienplatz Square start directly in front of the main train station , only 300 yards / 250 meters from the hotel. Amenities of the Vi Vadi Hotel Downtown Munich include a lounge area with TV and drinks , and the excellent Italian Restaurant Vi Vadi , open Monday to Friday from 11.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. Wireless Internet access is provided free of charge throughout the accommodation. The hotel is currently undergoing a complete transformation. Due to the renovation work , special reduced rates will be applied until the end of April 2009. The hotel apologies for any inconvenience and inform guests that the work will be suspended daily from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m and from midday to 1 p.m.
