The overall experience was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. In the past we have stayed at the Prinzregent nearer to the city centre, so we expected the same first class standards from the hotel in Riem. Conveniently located near to the S Bahn - Riem, with fast frequent trains to the city and airport. All staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and provided first class German service and hospitality. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the room was well appointed and maintained. Our only criticism was we felt that the hotel was very hot and we needed to keep our window open all the time. The restaurant food was good and to a high standard, although there could be more choice available from the evening menu. The breakfast buffet was excellent with something for all tastes and plenty of it. Munich is a great city to take a short break in, especially in December. The welcome is warm, the shopping is good and the public transportation is excellent. We will look forward to a return trip soon and would recommend this hotel to couples, families and those on business. Thank you to you all at the Prinzregent An der Messe!
