My kids and I spent 3 nights in April 2012. The location is great; the S-Bahn station right in the same building complex connects directly to the airport and main train station. The complex also contains a supermarket, dry cleaners, pharmacy, and miscellaneous stores.
We walked everywhere; it's only a 10-minute walk to the Isartor where all the sights start. The Deutsches Museum is very close, as are beautiful public baths that are over 100 years old. The river Isar runs nearby with endless opportunities for walks and bike rides.
Our room (5th floor) was modern and clean, super quiet and comfortable. Early check-in was no problem. The staff was friendly and attentive.
But the best was the breakfast buffet. Being used to Holiday Inns in America, we did not have high expectations and were amazed when we saw all the choices, the quality and abundance of food and drink offered. There was nothing that wasn't available. We stuffed ourselves and needed only one other meal each day.
I had chosen this hotel for its price and location. It surpassed my expectations and I could not have been happier. I can only recommend it to every traveler.
