That hotel is relativly new as it was build just in 2001, nevertheless it was already rewarded as one the country´s best hotels. The architecture is remarkable, the hotel is an imposing pink sandstone neoclasicial building with a "futuristic" dome on the top, furthermore elements of the Indian architecture can be found like for example "imposing" contours and thick columns. According to Frommers, the rooms are also very nice. The beds are "fabulously comfy", and the interior of the rooms is brightly colored and designed by the London based designer Francesca Basu.
