Description: The Burg Eltz is a well preserved castle in Germany. Visitors are permitted in the castle for tours from 1st April to 1st November only from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Regular tours take place every 15 minutes and last for 45 minutes each. Prices for tickets start at 6 euros for adults and 4.50 euros for children. An extra ticket at 3 euros also gets you access to the vault. Tours in English, French and Dutch can be arranged and special tours for groups of children. There are two restaurants on site serving snacks, refreshments and hot meals. There is also a souvenir shop on site. All profits from ticket sales go to the up keep of the castle. There is a car park at Eltz castle which can accommodate cars, buses and motorbikes. You can also reach the castle by train, via a ship tours or by taking the hiking trail.
