The Dahu is a friendly family run hotel with a splendid view overlooking the town. It is less than ten minutes walk to all parts of the town. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service to the lift stations and you can book this in the morning or telephone when returning from the piste. The portes du soleil is an extensive ski area. Truly fantastic skiing! Morzine is a pretty town, ideally situated for skiing the portes du soleil. Geneva airport is just 1hr 15 minutes away.
The food at the hotel is excellent, we used to eat out 3-4 times during our stay (just for variety) but frankly, the hotel takes some beating and with the current state of the euro it is cheaper to eat in anyhow. The bar has just been refurbished and the lounge areas are very relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are of a good standard and the hotel is kept very clean.
The staff are friendly, especially in the restaurant and bar.
We have stayed there several times now, which I think says it all.
