Marrakech La Mamounia is a hotel located in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech since 1923. It is close to many historical sites, including the souks, the Koutoubia mosque, or the Medina. Closed for renovation between 2006 and 2008, it was completely transformed by designer Jacques Garcia, and has since been the recipient of a number of distinctions, including the Tatler travel award, and the Conde Nast Traveller Gold list, both in 2010.

Closed for renovation between 2006 and 2008, it was completely transformed by designer Jacques Garcia, and has since been the recipient of a number of distinctions, including the Tatler travel award, and the Conde Nast Traveller Gold list, both in 2010.
Sitting in its own 8 hectare park, with fruit trees, 100 year-old olive trees and other exotic essences, the five star establishment boasts 136 rooms, 71 suites and three 700 square metres private riads.
With 4 restaurants, guests have a choice of Moroccan, French and Italian cuisine, whilst the Pavillon de la Piscine offers buffet breakfast and lunch when the weather allows. On Sundays, brunch is available by the pool from 12.00.
A 2500 square metre spa offers a number of services, including two traditional hammams and a private hammam, manicure and pedicure and more. A fitness pavilion allows the practice of yoga, aerobics or pilates. It is possible to book gastronomical, discovery, romantic, culture or adventure stays.
