Местните хора, претендират да имат свой собствен диалект и това понякога прави общуването трудно, дори и за други шотландци. По центъра има нормалните за всяко едно малко градче, малки магазини, пъбове и дискотеки. На киломерът извън града има добре оборудван голф център, но други развлекателни центрове било за малки или големи липсват.
