The author describes this building as "huge" with a "giant" dome made of copper. Frommer's then writes that the Basilica can have different effects on people due to it's "imposing dimensions". We are told that Brother André had a "reputation" for healing and people travelled from afar to see him. He had a dream and he was "beatified by the pope". The author provides details of the exterior and interior of the Oratoire St-Joseph and tells us how pilgrims still travel to the chapel, finishing off by referring to some of the facilities at the Basilica.
