[danbrink, 11/12/2011] We had another fantastic stay at The Lavender House. Kathy and Terry were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was superb - everything you would need, beatifully decorated, clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable and made for a sound nights sleep. We ate in 3 of our 4 nights and every meal was cooked to perfection - expertly prepared and presented, mouthwateringly tasty. It's truly excellent value - everything is such high quality and staying there is an absolute joy. [buttons, 19/02/2011] This is a gem of a place to stay! We had a wonderful few days at the Lavender House. The bedrooms and bathrooms are of a very high quality. Beds are luxurious and dressed with beautiful bed linen and duvets. Bathrooms are large with enormous walk in showers and quality shampoos / showers gels - not to mention the soft fluffy white towels. [Trin, 07/02/2011] We stayed at the Lavender House with our two teenage sons for our summer break in 2010, there is a pretty lake about 10 minutes that is a must for relaxing, swimming and sailing (food is also available on site).We also travelled to La Rochelle for a days outing, beautiful beaches with great places to eat. La Rochefoucauld is also a pretty village and there is a great restaurant in The Square that is very reasonably priced.
