The hotel is fully licensed and has a fine reputation for good wholesome cooking using as far as possible local meat fish and game both for Bar and Restaurant meals. We are open all day for morning coffees lunch and afternoon teas. The traditional sunday lunch is a Bankfield speciality with many of our customers coming every week. The hotel is ideally situated to suit all outdoor pursuits being near to the coast the lakes and the fells and is a very comfortable relaxing base for enjoying such a holiday. All bedrooms are ensuite. There is a comfortable lounge bar restaurant and large dining room. The standards of personal attention are what make Bankfield a favourite place for private functions such as dinner parties wedding receptions and meetings.
