For an ultra chic place to shop and dine sweetie, the Galleria Vittorio is an absolute must!
The Galleria is an elegant glass vaulted arcade lined with cafes and shops and luxury boutiques including Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton and the famous restaurant, Savini which we didnt eat at but was very expensive and food high quality and seemed to be favoured by well dressed, wealthy looking older clients.
The Galleria was designed to connect Piazza del Duomo which is just across the square and the Piazza della Scala. The arcade itself is quite small, 640 ft in length and we wandered around quite quickly whilst we sheltered from the bitter cold outside with our lovely hot chestnuts bought from one of the many vendors in the square outside.
Grab yourself a coffee, enjoy the mosaic floor, the grand glass and iron dome and watch the elegantly dressed Italians pass by...
