Described as a "slice of old Milan" the cobblestone Via Santa Marta is "narrow" with "charming old buildings". The Hotel Santa Marta is housed in one of these old buildings that line the street. "The Milanese" over the street from the hotel is a restaurant which is Milan's "most atmospheric". Sights including the Duomo are a "short walk" away. "Comfortable" guest rooms have tiled floors and the decor is "matter-of-fact fashion sense". Rooms vary in size from "cramped" to "quite large".
