Two years of thorough restructuring and of technological innovations have made the Grand Hotel et de Milan a perfect place for either business or pleasure, allowing guests to enjoy the age-old appeal of nineteenth-century noble residences. The hotel offers 95 rooms and the suites, all different to one another, have period furniture, which has been fondly restored. Each room or suite is characterized by a style of its own, at times nineteenth-century, at others art nouveau or art deco. The large bathrooms have been restructured with the use of the very best Italian marble. All of the rooms come with an air conditioning, mini-bar, telephone, satellite TV, bathroom, hair dryer, safe, fax, modem connections, video, and CD stereo. The Grand Hotel et de Milan has three welcoming lounges which blend elegance and up-to-date technology, for the ideal organization of business meetings, receptions, banquets, conferences, demonstrations and exhibitions. A fitness area surrounded by wide glass windows allowing day lighting and featuring the latest 'life fitness' equipment is at your disposal on the second floor of the hotel. The don Carlos restaurant has been called so in honors of maestro Giuseppe Verdi who was a guest of the grand hotel for more than twenty years. The don Carlos restaurant offers a regional cuisine, by the light of its antique silver candelabra, in a cozy, refined and elegant setting, revived by pictures, sketches and dcor coming from the La Scala Museum. Well known guidebooks and magazines have defined it as one of the most exclusive restaurants in Milan, where haute cuisine and exquisite service blend together in an age-old setting. The hotel accepts major credit cards.
